I'll just take your word for it since I'm too lazy to do research right now. The only research I have is that both PFL teams we've scheduled were H/H, with Campbell signing us for two H/H over four years...which would back up your statement.
I'm sure PFL teams are willing to do a single game, but I would bet they want a lot of money for it. Anytime I've hear of UNI trying to schedule one (typically Dayton, Butler, Drake, Morehead State) they are difficult, and from the looks of our OOC schedules coming up that have been released and our past schedules, or almost impossible to schedule on decent terms.

Drake has pulled UNI down to Des Moines a couple times, but it won't happen anymore unless it's on UNI's terms. The only reason they've gotten UNI down there is there is a LARGE UNI alumni base in Des Moines.

Well, I just looked at San Diego's scheduling history, and all the OOC teams they've played were home and homes (mostly SUU and UC Davis). But then again, SUU and UC Davis probably don't have cash to bring schools in like Montana does, and it's probably dirt cheap to play San Diego for a H/H if you're UC Davis.

I may be wrong but werent we scheduled to play Montana where the Western Oregon game is now earlier in the season? I could have sworn that i saw a thread or 2 saying we were at Montana. Dont know whether or not they changed it or not but if they did...maybe its a sign that they might be a little worried to play us now. :thumb:

I'm almost positive it was just speculation, and nothing official. Someone posted what they thought the schedule would be like on egriz, and people passed it around as if it were true.

We weren't ever offically playing anyone else OOC besides Tennessee and Cal poly until today.

Sept. 10 ... Cal Poly
Sept. 17 ... Eastern Washington
Sept. 24 ... at Sacramento State
Oct. 1 ... Northern Colorado
Oct. 8 ... at Idaho State
Oct. 15 ... Portland State
Oct. 22 ... at Northern Arizona
Oct. 29 ... Weber State
Nov. 19 ... at Montana State

I have no illusions of them beating Tennessee, so that leaves 9 games that count. 3 of their four toughest games are at home (CP, EWU, Weber). A bye the week before Cat/Griz to allow them to prep/heal. If Montana can't go 7-2 with that schedule, then the mystique is officially over and they don't deserve to be in the playoffs anyway.

DII games are usually just penciled in at this point. They are easy to buy out and/or reschedule if an FCS game or a money game comes along. DII games usually don't become "for sure" until February or March. Portland State has had DII or NAIA games listed in December. Some times we play them (Southern Oregon), sometimes we get a money game (Humboldt State replaced with Oregon State), sometimes we get an FCS opponent to replace them (Western Oregon with UC-Davis).

It could be that SUU/Montana is still in discussion but not set. When/if it is, Western Oregon will go away.

Already back pedaling to 2-2 huh? No deal, I get 2-2 and 1-3. :thumb:
Nope, because that means going 2-1, since the loss to Tennessee is pretty much a given.

2-2 is a push. Deal?
I'll go with that. You get 3-1 and 4-4, 2-2 is a push, I get 1-3 and 0-4.

Tbird, you've got to be kidding me. SUU is better but they are a team that we would be afraid of scheduling now?

AT HOME?

Dude, do not start spinning off in some weird direction now. Think about the logic of that statement considering the teams we have scheduled, and have been playing.
