NFL Playoffs

Post by 89Hen »

Picture getting a little more clear. Using ESPN's Playoff Machine and power rankings gives this...

NFC
1 - Atlanta
2 - Philadelphia
6 - Green Bay @ 3 - Chicago
5 - New Orleans @ 4 - St Louis

AFC
1 - New England
2 - Pittsburgh
6 - NY Jets @ 3 - Kansas City
5 - Baltimore @ 4 - Jacksonville

Chicago really gets screwed. Even though they get a home game, wouldn't you rather play St Louis than GB?

Only if Travis were the author. NE has a long way to go.

Bullshit. It's the rest of the NFL that has a long way to go. NE is already in the Superbowl.

Oh, and the Bruins are 0-3 in shootouts.

The story in the NFC is already lined up - it'll be the Eagles beating the Falcons in Atlanta. I actually feel kinda sorry for Atlanta fans, I don't mind them, but to have Vick come back into town and go to the Super Bowl with someone else is just going to be a major kick in the nuts. Poor Atlanta, first the Braves and now this.

The Eagles defense is going to kill them eventually.

Adam Schefter is saying if Pats win Sunday and Jets beat Pittsburgh the Patriots clinch home field advantage through AFC playoffs... though I don't see how since Jets would remain two games behind Patriots with two to play and could still win AFC East if Pats lost to Miami and Buffalo and Jets beat Bears and Buffalo.

Now with a Jets loss against Pitt and a Pats win vs Green Bay the Pats would clinch the East
