I have been ripping on our olineman for the pf penalty for the past couple day. I should have watched the replay first. Now its like, wow. #10 d-bag of the year. Is #10 for EWU the son of the special teams coach of the NY Jets. If not the son, perhaps a close relative. Unbelievable.

The Nova call was also done correctly as were the calls in the NDSU game. You couldn't see if the knee was down when the ball crossed the line in the Nova game so the call stood.

Some of you NDSU fans really need to learn a little bit about how the replay thing works. If you need some help post your questions and either clenz, AZ, or several others will help ya.

Regarding replay and the Nova QB if you think that was a TD then there is no hope for you as common sense has to come into play at some point Ursus.

You could not tell if Whitney's knee was down but you could see the ball crossed the line of the EZ. It was ruled a TD on the field so there was no way that replay could reverse that call.

This penalty really stands out. There were 2 refs that simultaneously threw their flags. That demonstrates it was clearly an orchestrated conspiracy by the refs trying to ensure an EWU win. How else could have they got the timing down so perfectly to throw the flags at the same time. It had to have been practiced before hand.

The inability of the booth to see the film is a result of the red turf. It blurs the lines between objects. Thats obvious. UAH himself says he cant tell if the ball is on the turf even though the players hands are on top of it, but it is hard to see because the turf makes it difficult to see the edges of the objects. Its a problem that has been brought to the attention of the national media by some folks on BV.

Bad officiating needs to be addressed. Im sure none of you want your team to get officiated out of contention either.

You make a point the a friend and I have discussed about the turf. It does make judgment calls tougher to make. It especially makes discerning between when an Eastern players knee is down on the turf tougher. Thing is that will go against them as often as it goes for them.

The officiating is/was not worse than in any other games played by a measurable amount. The only reason you need it addressed is because it went against your team. You never need these things looked into when it goes in your favor. There was nothing that was blatantly called that in real time could have been scrutinized as a call that was unacceptable...by fans other than NDSU at least.
