Reason this thread seems to be no fun: Physical Therapy. For the past couple years GSU has lost more fans to bandwagon jumping than anywhere in FCS. For every multiplying App State fan there has been on message boards - there have been an equal # of disappearing GSU fans. While they were learning to walk again with 2 broken ankles this site gained & took a lot of the momentum AGS had before. Now that GSU is back in the game their fans don't know about it & this thread has like 15 posts five days before the ass-whoop, err game.

I went to the GSU/UD game Labor Day weekend in 2002 and had a blast except for the outcome of the game.

After the game (it was on a Thursday night) my wife and I went to Klondyke Kates and the owner took an interest in us and hung out with us and got me shit faced. We closed the bar with her. The people there could not have been any nicer. Good time except for the results of the game and the hangover I had the next day. I wish I could remember the name of the drink she kept making for me...

There are two questions that will determine the outcome of the game IMO.

1) How do the UD OL and Devlin respond to the pressure? And make no mistake, Devlin will be feeling the heat more so than he has any this year. GSU's defensive front is good.

2) Can UD's suspect defensive front stop GSU's fullback dive? I don't care how much experience your defensive coaches have against defending the flexbone option, if you can't contain that fullback dive you're going to get gashed without GSU even having to throw the ball.

It's going to be a good one. A much better game than, uh, whatever that other playoff game there is that's going on Friday.
