SOURCE: Pettite Won't Be Lowballed By Yankees Again

Good for him... Yankees can dish out megamillions to hasbeens like Jeter, dish out megamillions for a 40 year old closer. Surely they should make a nice rich offer to a SP (Which they desperately need) who was 11-3 with a 3.28 ERA.

Maybe they Red Sox should offer him a $10 million deal for 2011 and move Dice K to the bullpen. :thumb:

Whatever the Yankees offer, the Red Sox should offer less. It worked for the Phillies, I think you'll find most guys would take whatever is offered just to stay out of New York. :lol:

he'd never do it - but i'd love to see the twins swoop in with a $10mil/yr offer for this season - guy kills us every f'ing october - it'd be worth it just to keep him off the yankees.
