The place is looking good!

The two-year construction plan to finish phase 1 must be killing you guys. It is hard enough watching LU's go up, and we will be in ours this fall. Of course, it won't be fully completed for several years, but the home side will be 100% done by the second home game. [fingers crossed]

Is it ADA or code that lower sections can be more steep than upper ones? Seems to be that App's new side also has a steep lower section and then a flat higher one.

Nah, UD isn't doing it because of weather and/or not being capable of maintaining a grass field - UD put the fake stuff in because the new President wanted to put a lot more events into the big stadium, including the lacrosse programs (men's lacrosse has been pretty successful as of late). Heck, there's even talk of trying to lure a lacrosse quarterfinal game (pair of games) to Delaware Stadium in the future (although it would need to be after other stadium enhancements). No one ever argued that you could rely on grass if you wanted to use the place all the time - you obviously can't.
