Team A puts up 383 yrds of offense while giving up only 237 yrds of offense and wins by 13 points.

Team B registers only 246 yrds of offense while giving up 343 yrds and wins by 3 points.

and everyone says Team A was unimpressive, while Team B looked wonderful.

I dunno... Having seen both play there is no question in my mind Wofford is better offensively and they're comparable defensively.

OK I will start.
1. Your team was just too fast for us.
2. The refs stole the game.
3. We did not have enough experience in our defensive back field to contain the TO.
4. It was no fair that you were using three footballs at the same time - we didn't know who had the ball.
5. We didn't know that your QB knew how to throw the ball.
6. It was cold
7. We didn't have the band because school is officially out
8. Your fans out numbered our fans
9. We were just to big and slow
10. We were looking ahead to playing Nova.
11. Our coach was wearing his sun glasses on a cloudy day - couldn't see the field
12. Your cheerleaders were too good looking - kept distracting our players.
13. We haven't really played any good teams this year so we didn't know what to expect.
Besides, W&M's inability to stop our offense doesn't take away from the fact that they only generated 9 points and just a little over 200 yards of offense.

As an App fan, it pains me to say this & I'll regret it if it comes to fruition.....but I hope GSU knocks the ever-living shit out of Delaware....seriously, a fokking blue hen? wtf?

That's the point...he won't be...we've had many teams with great defenses who put a lot of pressure on him...he doesn't unravel...

Appaholic...why so mad? We'll go through the same thing next year after Pat leaves that you went through this year after AE...the difference is we'll be sensible about it and not make light of losing such a great player...I'm not saying you specifically, but there were plenty of App fans who said that App would be fine without AE...didn't happen. DP like Sasek is a big drop off.

Either way...we're most likely going to come out on top.

You're about to see the difference between an NFL caliber QB and a QB whose an athlete. You may hit Pat all day long, you may make some plays on him, the dude will never lose his cool. He just doesn't get rattled. If a 100,000 + Ohio State fans couldn't get to him, the GSU line certainly won't either.

You're about to see the difference between an NFL caliber QB and a QB whose an athlete. You may hit Pat all day long, you may make some plays on him, the dude will never lose his cool. He just doesn't get rattled. If a 100,000 + Ohio State fans couldn't get to him, the GSU line certainly won't either.

Every person who ever stepped on any field of play in any sport is susceptible to pressure. The question is (and none of us knows the answer) is if GSU's defense and the game situation can exert enough pressure to get him to blink.

I don't doubt that GSU has an outstanding defense.. but UNH also had a very good and apparently under-rated defense. Against a shedule (playoffs included) that contained five FCS playoff teams plus Pitt.. UNH gave up only an average of 16.5 points per game. As far as QB pressure goes.. UNH provided plenty while registering 37 sacks. When you take into consideration that GSU has given up 17.9 points per game and has a total of 25 sacks.. I think it's pretty safe to say that Devlin has already seen and reacted very well to a defense that can really get after the QB.

I don't know if GSU's defense is better than UNH or not... I guess we'll have a better idea of that Saturday, but don't read anything into GSU's sack totals because they played a number of "run heavy" teams- Navy, Wofford x2, Citadel.

The key for Delaware will be if they can handle GSU's front four and the tackles Russell and Tinsley especially. If they can hold off the front four and make GSU bring more players to get pressure it will open things up for some one on one matchups on the outside. GSU runs a lot of exotic blitz packages and they have speed so they have been able to make some things happen this year with pressure. How UD handles all that will likely protend their success or failure.

I want to know who the hell abused the shrubs in that second to last pic. They took The Knights Who Say Ni a little too seriously when asked to find a shrubbery.

Since he's never attempted a pass against Ohio State, we'll never know.

That's the part I didn't like - it takes awhile to grow those shrubs to make them look good - I understand the desire to grab a momento, but they can easily get another goal post - the shrubs looked like crap after that.
