3) DP shouldn't have been a 2nd team All-American over Pat. Pat missed three games. That's not DP's problem but after watching Saturday it's pretty obvious whose is the better choice.

Well, technically, UD did win their conference - the CAA doesn't differentiate between co-champions so W&M and UD are, factually, co champions.

As for handling pressure, I don't recall Devlin cracking under any pressure - he left for playing time. Such is life at Penn St where Joe Pa plays upperclassmen almost as a rule. But again, factually, he didn't leave due to pressure.

So that makes you 0 for 2 with facts. Just calling things facts doesn't make them so. Just saying.

Joe Pa is clearly infallable...you're right...never made a mistake...Clark was so awesome he didn't even get drafted. Joe Pa makes mistakes...plenty of them...face it...your 0-2.

He put up 361 yds passing & 24 pts...how's that folding. App didn't lose the game due to DP anymore than we lost the Montana game last year due to AE.. we lost the game because our DEFENSE folded....

Thank you! I think that gives UD's defense a marked advantage over other non-SoCon teams that don't face the TO that often. I mean, yea, we see URI run it, but c'mon...(in reality I'm really clad we didn't face URI this year).

Keeler knows how to prepare a team for a quality TO team. In the end, I think that's the difference. I still think it's close (I would take GSU +8), but I think Delaware can pull it out.

That game was done by the third. What the stats don't show are some of the terrible throws and the head hanging that came with it.

2) I used a factual example to discredit your arguement about Pat not starting over Clark. You simply said because Joe Pa made the call it must be true. In truth Pat will be playing, not sitting on Sundays. Clark is a third string QB in Canada. It's as big a mistake as Pitt selecting Palko over Flacco.

Devlin vs UNH 27/38 for 261 2 TDs 0 Ints

As has been stated before, GSU faced many more run oriented teams than UNH...Navy, The Citadel, Wofford (twice). I'm not gonna look it up but it wouldn't surprise me that UNH probably had 75 or more chances to rush the QB for those sacks than GSU did.

We do have a lot of players who have seen Navy run their offense....we've had mixed results. We certainly haven't ever stopped them. I think the advantage is in our safeties. They are very good against the run. That being said...if GSU gets a good lead on us it will be hard to come back if their grinding out yards and running the clock. We have to keep them out of the endzone. If we give up points, which we will, they have to be field goals.

App and Villanova were pretty even statistically, so I wouldn't really call that a massacre.
On the other hand, the lowly 3rd place team from the even LOWER SoCon took your CAA champion behind the woodshed...in fact took them behind their own woodshed, and wore that ass out.

GSU vs UNH's pass D rankings are a matter of yards per game. How many good passing offenses are there in the SoCon? There's no doubt tomorrow will be the best passing attack GSU has seen this year.
