Aren't good booze and hot chicks good enough for you? :?
But of course! But if you start talking about politics or religion with me, I will not hesitate to kick you in square the balls and then knee you in the face. But I'm a nice guy at parties, so I'll get you a nice scotch afterwards. :thumb:

And I like to say the word 'but' repeatedly.

Yeah, it's pretty good. The review I took that quote from is pretty harsh, but I tend to go into these things with an open mind. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

I'm currently reading several book simultaneously, all dealing with the Amerasians in Vietnam, and the Orderly Departure Program.

A good, short read is "Vietnamerica: The War Comes Home".

He taught at Harvard while I was there, but I never took his government course. My best college friend did, however, and called him "JQ."

Too bad he's not smart enough to know the difference between a corporation and a person. :coffee:
Corporations are juridical persons, and courts everywhere have recognized that for decades. Deal with it. :coffee:

And enjoy your latest Kennedy book, Mr. Grassy Knoll!

Definately. The Corporate Personhood concept is one of the biggest travesties the SCOTUS has imposed on the Republic

My wife gave me Operation Mincemeat last night, I can't wait to read it.

I've been reading the History of Irish Americans and the HIstory of POW's in the American Revolution. both are very insightful and easy to read. The wealth of knowledge between the covers is amazing.

Update on this one -

At first, it was rather boring, but after a while, I caught the theme - the undulating successes and failures of liberalism and conservatism in Eastern Europe which caused it to be, to this day, so fvcking backward. Back in the early 1800's, liberalism worked to eliminate feudalism, which tended to keep the peasants down. Conservatism rose and that's when economic elites tsarted to form, creating much larger gaps in the socioeconomic strata. Hmmmm, sounds familiar, don't it?

Except that the liberals of the early 1800s make today's conservatives look like raging lefties.

Read up on it, Bluto.

These people back then were full-out rioters. But, there was no FOXNews back then to be "fair and balanced" about sh*t, so I can see how you might be confused.

Conks spend too much time looking backward. The world becomes more liberal everyday.
