Unfortunately for EWU there is always the knowledge that they were given a game they should have lost by an unlikely and perplexing series of game changing calls by the referees. Every single point they scored was a result of a bad call except the TD on OT. The game was finally handed to them by the bogus fumble call at the goal line.

Its a shame really that it will always come down to that. Even if they win the NC there is a large portion of the FCS fan base that knows what happened. The Eagles were beaten by the BISON but the BISON were beaten by the referees.
