HAARP: What is the purpose exactly?

Post by expandspanos »

Ok, so some of you guys may have heard about this HAARP thing we've got up in Alaska near Fairbanks. It stands for High Altitude Auroral Research Program.

Image

What it does is, bounces a huge amount of energy against the ionosphere. It has the ability to "bounce" the ionosphere as well- freaky stuff.

Image

Freaky thing is- the frequency they have this thing tuned to (60 Hz ELF) is the exact same frequency used as the human brain.. Tin foil hat time?

The Russians have a few of these things too.. The most famous of theirs is called the Woodpecker Image
:coffee:

Anyway, long story short, the HAARP facility (and two other facilities we have) we have can also be used to "bounce" the ground and create earthquakes: " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This seems like very dangerous technology, that we probably should pressure our gov. not to be using.

I think we got the technology from the ship that crashed in Roswell.

Being something of a student of the sociology of CS.com, I would think that when you bring both the Donks and Conks so closely together in ridiculing you, you are probably espousing something pretty fvcking nutty.

"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

Good grief, can you get much weaker?

1) 60 Hz is not elf, elf is 30Hz and below.

2) NOAA has been studying the aurora from that station since at least the mid-70s. I know that to be true because I was stationed at Ft. Wainwright and often worked on their Hueys. Talked to many of their scientists who were doing the research many times.

ELF is used to communicate with submarines, which is likely what the Russian woodpecker is about. Bounce it off the ionosphere and you can contact subs underwater almost anywhere on the planet. This is where you should have been going with your half-witted jabber. (But you don't have to bounce off the ionosphere because you can reach the subs anyway without doing that).

Jesus, do I have to to every goddamn thing around here?

Nothing HAARP does is classified. If you're worried in any way about any facet of the operation, submit a FOIA request to their FOIA officer.

And another ESPAN thread will be abandoned by him due to lack of any argument against the logical explanations.

Houndawg is correct. The woodpecker is one of Russia's old ELF transmitters for talking to their submarine fleet. There are more modern methods for doing it now, though.

And the brain works in the 6-10HZ range, not 60Hz. Otherwise we'd probably have a different frequency associated with our line voltage.
