Flynn stepped up nicely and almost beat the Pats on the road to prove the Pack can complete without Mr Rodgers. Green Bay has some nice recievers that can keep them in the game and a defense than can win games with Matthews, Woodson etal.

Hooray for playing Joe Webb as a WR this week in fantasy

...shame McCoy had nothing to work with though. Colt Anderson had a fumble recovery too but it was blown dead (correctly) :notworthy:

And Vick played himself out of the MVP race (although I'm always one to argue that individual awards are meaningless in the grand-scheme of things when it comes to team sports).
I think this will be a good thing for the Eagles though...a little dose of reality before the playoffs to let them know that they need to prep 100% and play 100% and blah blah blah.
See my post in the MVP thread. The only dose of reality the Eagles got last night is that they just aren't all that good. They've been manhandled for seven of their last eight quarters. The injuries on defense are glaring. The offensive line only has to show up with Vick behind them, and they didn't even do that last night. The Eagles will not advance past the divisional round, and I am not confident they can beat either the Giants (for a third time) or the Packers (who humiliated them once already) in the wild card game.

And as a football fan in general, you are correct. That was about as painful a football game to watch as I've seen in a long time. Nobody wanted to win, except the Vikings QB.
I turned the game off at halftime, in disgust. After that fumble return for the first Viking TD, I had bad vibes. The extra sleep did me good.
