I now officially HATE UCONN....

Boy, am I glad I wasn't at this game. UCONN shook off about 13 minutes of rust in the first half in Stockton tonight, and ran away from UOP from that point on. The final was 85-42, and it wasn't that close. UOP hit a trey with six ticks left to FINALLY get over the 40 mark. That 7-min mark left in the first half was key, because at that point the score was 15-12 UCONN.

On the bright side, UOP's Jordan Rogers had the only double-double of the game, pairing 11 points with 11 boards. UCONN's Maya Moore led the way for the [bleep]ing Huskies with 17 points, 8 rebs, and 6 steals. Kelly Faris (14) and Heather Buck (11) also got double figures for UCONN.

I had to drown my sorrows by watching Rudolph's Shiny New Year, and even THAT didn't help much.

There was a Dallas Braden sighting at the game.

I'm happy for the relatively small measure of revenge for Tuesday night.
