No.

But, they'll get their shot at the MNC in a few years if Patterson stays.

I disagree.

IF you restrict this debate to FBS, you are correct. But, for me, the TRUE D-I National Champions will be determined 07 JAN 2011 in Frisco, TX.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

you are correct SH, because the NCAA does not recognize the BCS champion as such. The FCS NC winner is the only one recognized by the NCAA as a football DI champion.

Might as well count Nebraska's loss to their total as well.

The Big 10's only wins so far against the Big 12.... and if UConn can pull an upset here tonight... the Big 12 will have had a worse holiday week than the Big 10

TCU would destroy Auburn and Oregon. Got to love the system. Just like Boise would have murdered Alabama and Texas last year.

Give me a break. They beat the co-champs of a very weak Big Ten by TWO. :coffee:

The worst thing that could have happened for TCU was to win the Rose Bowl and the B10 shit the bed...and it happened.

Now people can say - "Yeah they won, but the B10 blows this year and anyone could have beaten Wisconsin".

Looks as though some have already bought into that.

I'm not saying they aren't a very good team, but to say they would destroy Oregon or Auburn is just dumb. Sure, they could beat them on any given day, but blow them out? I don't think so.

another successful bait by eagleskins. And the Big 10 was pretty good this year, outside of Michigan State, can anyone say they were surprised by any of the other outcomes?

I think the worst thing that could have happened to them is to all get arrested and tried for murder and then thrown into a federal 'pound-me-in-the-ass' Mexican prison for the rest of their lives.
The second worst thing that could have happened to them is for their plane to crash on the way to LA/Pasadena.
The third worst thing that could have happened to them would have been to lose to Wisconsin.

So all in all, I don't think they fared to bad at all.
