It was later re-tweeted by Sarah Palin which has left many wondering why. Palin is very much anti-gay, so the question is, is she softening a bit on her anti-gay stance or did she misunderstand the original tweet.

i followed him while he was the republican presidential nominee... When he lost I stopped following him.

Palin's style reminds me very much of my mother with her excitement towards doing good things for other people and trying to bridge gaps to accomplish things. She doesn't have the religious hard on angle but most people that are religious are not as hardline as the ones that we see supporting the right.
