That's good to hear. I was really disappointed when XX brought back Hacksaw. Coach either knows what he's about or is smart enough to say he doesn't. Then he finds out for you. Hacksaw will cover by making cr@p up. He did that to me while I was stationed with the Marines when I was asking about the Hornets. Made up a name to cover that he didn't know that our RB was Charles Roberts.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

I think they all make stuff up to some extent. And I wouldn't expect a SD radio host to know anything about an FCS team other than USD.SuperHornet wrote:That's good to hear. You remember the Sports Doctor Jon Chelesnik? He was on 690 for a while before the station split. Before radio, he was a scrub basketball player at K-State. I first started calling radio shows when he was on 690. He actually knew more about UOP than I did. For a while, Chelesnik was paired with Chris Ello, another cool guy.

He was 1-11 against ranked teams and 0-6 combined against rivals Ohio State and Michigan State.
