A New Hampshire State Legislator is challenging the constitutionality of a Democratic Representative's membership in the State Legislature because he also serves as the Executive Director of the New Hampshire Democratic Party and claims that the member is putting forth legislation that benefits his party's agenda. (Isn't that was all legislators do?)
Its common for executive directors of both party's in New Hampshire to also serve in the legislature.
Why a hypocrite? Because the person making the challenge, Manchester Rep. Phil Greazzo also serves as an Alderman in Manchester and has in the past put forth legislation that benefits the Manchester Board of Alderman's agenda.
In recent years Democrat Ray Buckley served in the House while also serving as Executive Director of the Democratic Party and Manchester Alderman. Former GOP Speaker Donna Sytek held the top spot in the House while also serving as the Chairwoman of the State GOP.
Republican hold a nearly 3-1 majority in the House after the historic 2010 election, should they expel the member a court battle could ensue.
Hypocrite
