BTW, this was damn good game to represent the FCS if ya care for that sort of stuff (other than that chain fiasco).

Chain was definitely controversial. However, my brother and I noticed that on the next measurement, when Delaware had the ball, the person controlling the "yellow line" in the booth was not doing a great job. We thought.. No Way.. he's a foot short and then realized it was the yellow line that was off by a foot. Definitely did NOT make it easy for TV viewers to figure out what happened.

I saw the same thing. Where they ball was spotted and was a first down was almost on the black line and well short of the unofficial yellow there.

I wish! After watching how well Bo Levi threw the ball against Villanova, you can see he isn't quite on that mark tonight. Not bad by any sense, but when UD is playing like they have been any bad throw is a real negative.

Of course he just had some really nice throws...just to spite me.

Hell, if that is the way they want to play, I predict Delaware will win.

I was just talking to SE174 on the phone and told him that I was glad you guys as fans have went through some of this silly "bad calls" BS. I'll bet it gives you new perspective on how **** dumb and sore loserish some of you have sounded in the past. It was the EWU Eagles that won those games and if some retard wants to argue that it was the refs then so be it. They are wrong.

I think TTBF was not serious in that post and was more poking fun at what a big deal had been made out of the bad calls. He has never before shown a proclivity to being an asshat (on football ) so I don't think it's his way now either.

No offense taken. I probably over reacted some, but its been sort of a sore subject. I see where you're coming from, and it is well taken. I guess my only caviat would be that we've had the benefit of re-play throughout these playoffs. I've never mentioned it before, but I was at the semi-final game against YSU in 97 when EWU lost a fumble that never was. It was 10 times more apparent than any of the close calls we've seen. We never had the benefit of replay or review back then - just had to accept it. So I understand what its like. Bottom line is all the plays were reviewed and even if any of them were indeed bad calls, wiNing teams find ways to overcome them.

UD lost in a similar way NDSU and Nova did - because they could not stop the pass in the final minutes. Had nothing to do with refs or anything like that. Just think we had the magic this year.
