Palin's website had several districts "in crosshairs"

Post by catamount man »

including Giffords. Who thinks the ex governor fundamentalist whackjob deserves some blame in this?

I would consider myself a conservative on some issues, liberal on some issues, but where do we draw the line in this nation? Are people truly wanting limited government or is it a bunch of whites just pissed that a negro is President.

The tea partiers can spin it any way they choose, but you didn't hear one iota of their hostility towards Washington until Obama was elected President and I am in no way defending him, but damn America, enough is enough.

Sarah Palin is not the tea party nor is she responsible for this wack job. :ohno: Arizona breeds wack jobs like Nevada breeds sand fleas.

But you are correct about lots of these so-called tea party people not being thrilled about having a Prez who isn't white, and cloaking their racism behind an alleged distrust of government which, coincidentally, blossomed forth on January 21st,2010.

I don't find a whole lot of fault with the "crosshairs" thing. As has been said, people on both sides of the aisle have used similar language and war rhetoric has been a part of politics - again from both sides - for quite some time.

Where I do blame the Right is for their outlandish commentary and hate speech over the past two years. They've labeled every Democrat as someone who wants to come take YOUR! guns. We want to take away YOUR! liberties. They want to destroy YOUR! country. Palin saying that then Senator Obama hates America enough to "pal around" with terrorists. They've literally and figuratively painted the entire Left as haters of America.

So they gave credibility to the extremists. It game lunatics like this guy the mindset that it wasn't wrong to kill anymore -- because it was his way of defending the country from a radical agenda that was destroying it. He was a martyr. He was only defending this country the way the founding fathers. Tree of Liberty and Blood of Tyrants, no?

Gabrielle Giffords wasn't fond of Palin putting her in the "crosshairs."
The way that she has it depicted.... has the crosshairs of a gun sight over our district... when people do that, you have gotta realize there's consequences to that action.

Dead on. I really haven't even ventured onto these threads to look at what the board members think on it because I know full well that it's gonna be some anti gun, tea party, bullshit from the idiots that want to have some simple answer for this. I had to see what Cman was putting out there though.

Gotta love that people are trying to find someone to blame for the actions of a lunatic. It's always gotta be someone to be the lightning rod from the other team right?

Did this guy visit the site in question and was he driven to this by it? Yeah, I'm sure that's the fucking answer.
