Stem Cell Research?
Re: Stem Cell Research?
I'm on the fence with stem cells. I don't care where they get em either. I think they're onto something there and it's a bit scary. How fukcing long do humans HAVE to live? This planet is already crowded enough without the RX industry figuring out a way to make us live even longer.
Before you pile on me, think about it.

"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

I see your point. Right now, with all the emphasis on regular cardio workouts and diets, we seem to be creating bodies that live longer than the brain and nervous systems want to.D1B wrote:I'm on the fence with stem cells. Guess it's one way of re-distributing wealth to the states as hollow minds waste away in nursing homes.

Need to allow smoking, obesity, driving with cell phones etc to thin out the population every now and then.Appaholic wrote:Agree. Same reason for supporting abortion, war and capitol punishment. Care to take a trip to India or Bangladesh and then get back to us? This is what happens when you put religion ahead of science and common sense.catamount man wrote:No to any embryonic stem cells.
