Re: K-State QB transferring to JMU
From watching JMU's offense last year, they need a lot more than a transfer QB.

Re: K-State QB transferring to JMU
I just skimmed but, he was red-shirted last year so he wasn't given the chance to start. That would be why; unless both were freshmen and one was red-shirted while the other wasn't. I'm to lazy to look in to all these details.Skjellyfetti wrote:Wait second. He was a 3-star QB? But, a terrible 2-star QB started over him. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!?

OR, maybe this is the first time in the history of rating recruits they got it wrong.CrackerRiley wrote:I just skimmed but, he was red-shirted last year so he wasn't given the chance to start. I thought you purple-wearing people were cordial to each other.JMU DJ wrote:clenz wrote: Because other posters don't constantly bitch and moan about everything - then turn around and say "I had a bad day", "I'm tired", "You just don't get it", blah, blah, blah.
You just don't get it, Clenz![]()
... not my interpretation when you say this CM:
Sounds pretty negative to me. I got your "sarcasm," just decided to call you on it this time. Look through your post CM, especially the ones that pertain to CAA related material, they're all "sarcastic," "snarky" remarks. It'd be like me coming into Southland related threads and saying something like "Man, Texas State San Marcos needs to quit taking those FBS transfers if it's going to lead them to a 4-7 record. What are they trying to be like JMU and UD with their national title FBS transfer QBs?"CatMom wrote:Another CAA school putting their hopes behind an FBS transfer.

We suck.
I come on here because I can have fun. Sorry if I come across as cross. Somebody has to slam the CAA, in jest....it's my role
Pretty much the whole conference does suck (SLC) and I know it.
And I don't have issues when you "get back" at me, even if it seems I do. I'm ok with it all. I love this forum and everyone of you guys and gals.

Too lazy to look it up what year the starter was, but you would be comparing a true freshman to a likely 4th-5th yr player.Skjellyfetti wrote:Wait second. He was a 3-star QB? But, a terrible 2-star QB started over him. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!?
I more star isn't usually going to make up 3-4 years experience in a program. Thats what they have redshirts for.

Re: K-State QB transferring to JMU
KSU's starting quarterback, Carson Coffman, was a senior who threw for over 2,000 yards, 14 TDs, 7 INTs, completion percentage of 65% and a QB rating of 143. I can understand why the transfer QB red shirted and road the pine all season.BDKJMU wrote:Too lazy to look it up what year the starter was, but you would be comparing a true freshman to a likely 4th-5th yr player.Skjellyfetti wrote:Wait second.
