Oh man that one could hurt, after how we embarrassed them on their homecoming (yea SDSU lost, but they were straight up embarrassed, had several Husker fans say that we should have won) I can see them coming out with a vengence to try to beat the piss out of the first FCS they play.

I love variety in team uniforms. Makes the game much more interesting to watch, but those two uniforms on the same field at the same time.... just scary! lol. BTW, what's the history behind the orange Montana uniform?

you got the full schedule? I have 2 open dates for you guys. I missed the S Miss cause it's during SLC play (though that's a bit screwy this year anyway)
I was scouring the Internet and picked up on some more interesting FCS vs FBS games:
UC Davis plays Arizona State Sept 3rd and Hawaii Sept 24th
South Alabama plays Kent State Sept 24th
North Dakota plays Fresno State Sept 17th
Southern Utah plays BYU Sept 10th and UNLV Sept 24th
UND plays at Idaho Sept 10 and (as noted by bojeta) Fresno State on Sept 17. Chances of winning depends on who steps in at QB - if we get good QB play we may be able to surprise them.....especially Idaho since we got blown out there last year and they may overlook us.

I didnt know BYU played SUU, but I know they play Idaho State
As of right now the only FBS game that i know is legit is our matchup against the UNLV Rebels on Sept. 9th and i have to say i cant help but think we may have a slim chance to beat them and Bobby Hauck , However another rumor has emerged and that is we are having talks with Oregon about playing them up in Eugene....god i hope for our players sake that this rumor aint true, no way around it we would be f***ed up .
However on a much lighter note (also has alot of SUU fans breathing a sigh of relief at this) our AD has given Ed Lamb a contract extension all the way through the 2015 season. Great move and definitely gives me some hope for upcoming years.

Sorry, but I've always loved the simplicity of Alabama's uniforms. I saw GSU's when the televised the game against Delaware. For obvious reasons, I like them too. The uniforms I can't stand: OREGON!!! All 7 or 8 of them!!!! Reminds me of those ridiculous uniforms the WFL was trying to shove down our throats back in the `80's lol..

I suspect the Hokies (even without TT) will be jacked (Thanks, Dukes ) to the extent they will have no problem laying 50+ on their 'next' FCS opponent.

Really
Mustafa Greene will be a Heisman candidate on September 4th (with or without Russell Wilson) after running through (and over!) Liberty.
Not sure what will be more annoying -- the "That's good for another Wolfpack... FIRST DOWN!" or the howling wolf after every score.

I'm surprised a GSU poster hasn't come in here to tell the story about how GSU's first uniforms were old Alabama practice unis and their current uniform has followed that model ever since*.
Washington vs. Eastern Washington on Sept. 3rd 2011. The Holiday Bowl Champs vs. The FCS National Champs. This game started out as a quick WIN for the Huskies of UW, but will now have to prepare for a hungary team of spurned athletes from EWU. Many of these guys had hoped to get offers from the UW, but ended up at Eastern and will have a chip on their shoulder for this game. Being the FCS NC Champs and the turned down athletes for the California kids should give them plenty of motivation for their 1st game of 2011, will it be enough, don't know, but makes for a great story line. GO EAGS!!!

DaWgs are goin' down. I hope they start Montana's kid, just so we can say we beat him.
Can you imagine how much that would deflate their fans, program and the city? I would love it.
