I'm thinking this could really be Wofford's year. They should be a preseason top 5 with everyone they have back and they have GSU and App. State at home in S'burg.
I'd pick GSU to run the table if this was an even-numbered year which would put Appy and Wofford in Statesboro. Offense should improve with players returning from injuries and another year of practice in the option. Defense could really be something to watch with only 2 starters gone.
App. State will be able to reload, but how much? I think defense will be a problem for them this year.
Chatty is a dark horse. They could very well be a playoff team, but I don't think they can finish first.

Gotta agree with that prognostication...
Woffie, App, GSU, Chatty then everybody else. I could see a scenario where all four make the playoffs but IMO Wofford, App, and GSU are serious playoff and title contenders as things stand right now.

I think Wofford or GSU, next probably ASU/Chatty, and everybody else. We lost a lot in '10, but hopefully recruited well.

Socon definitely looks deeper than in recent years, at least at the top.

With the amount of speed that was redshirted last year on O, and the speed in this recruiting class, GSU's offense is going to look like the GSU of old this season. Defense is already the best in the conference.

Wofford should be good this year and it scares me. I don't think we've had so much "pressure" if you want to call it that to be good in football, ever. I pick GSU or App because we have trouble against App and we can't beat GSU at home, if we can do both we will be a seed

It's going to be a rat race between the puppies and UNC-Tweetsie. GSU has a legit shot if they can stay healthy, win the games they are supposed to win and beat one one of the top two. The Appies are going to be a little less talented this fall while the Terriers are getting nearly everything back. I don't think the Chatts can hold a candle to these three. Then there is a big gap between these and the rest of the league.
