I'd have to say YSU is near, or at, the top with 21 commits with 9 more to go.
We had 22 commitments before our first big visit weekend which was the 14th...we're essentially full now, barring some last minute defections/additions...we'll sign right 30, counting mid-year guys.

We have 12 verbals (that I know of) so far. Not bad considering we went 7 weeks without a coach.
I'm sure there are more...but I can only identify the 12.

Officially, I've only read about one commitment for Southern, but I've also heard that they received about 10-12 commitments over the past two weekends. They'll only be signing 15 kids this season.

Right now 10 are what is known of for UNI - Farley keeps these things really close to the chest so to see 10 leaked already is unusual

Quarterback
Connor Bravard 6'1"/190lbs West DesMoines, IA (Dowling)

Wide Receiver
Isaac Lintz 6'0"/175lbs West DesMoines, IA (Valley)

Tight End
Sam Rohr 6'3"/233lbs Brookfield, WI (Brookfield Central)
Jacob Rathmacher 6'4"/230 Story City, IA (Roland Story)
Braden Lehman 6'7"/245lbs Iowa City, IA (Regina)

Defensive Line
Wyatt Peiffer 6'4"/230 Chaska, MN (Chaska HS)

Linebacker
Videl Nelson 6'2"/205lbs Kansas City, MO (Stanley)

Defensive Back
Alex Carr 5'9"/162lbs Cedar Rapids, IA (Washington) - very easily could be running back as he was All State in HS.
Shawn Rush 6'1"/210lbs Columbia, MO (Rock Bridge)

Athlete
Austin Ebertowski 6'0"/205lbs Council Bluffs, IA (Lincoln) - likely RB

There are some rumors of two very special OL out of the Kansas City area committing to UNI, but I have yet to find verification of it.

There are about 60 or 70 others that have some sort of offer from UNI and haven't announced a decision yet.

I wouldn't be shocked if we pull a pretty big singing out on signing day as it tends to happen.

I would be shocked if Farley let more than one or two more names get out. He tends to tell commits not to say anything.

UD landed it's #1 QB target - Steven Hughes from FL, 6'2 - 190 (offers from Mid Tenn St, La-Laff, EKU, Tenn St)

Also getting a CB transfer from Boston College C.J. Jones, who is actually from the state of DE, will have 3 years of eligibility.

Amen to that one! :notworthy:

We get half a semblance of a back four going by September and we're a very dangerous team again. It'll be interesting to see if Farkas gets any playing time as a freshman. He looks like a real hitter from the tape I've watched.

Well I was wrong about more names not getting out.

UNI has added two o-lineman and a saftey.

One o-lineman is one of the ones from the KC area. He was committed to Indiana but de-committed and picked UNI.
The other lineman had some pretty good offers from Iowa and Iowa State

YSU is up to 24 commitments as of tonight. Ten of which come from the football rich area of Youngstown, OH . That is about ten more than Heacock recruited from our area when he was here lol!

Expect 3-5 more commits over the coming 24-36 hours.

We plan to sign 30, so I would say roughly 20-23 or so. We lost a number of players after spring ball with Wolford in charge. In addition, we had a pretty large senior class.

We are looking at the max class of 30.

At GSU recruiting is a different animal... you may have heard the old saying "it ain't the x's and o's it's the Jimmy's and Joe's." Well, if GSU is getting Jimmy's and Joe's there is a problem. GSU runs the option so speed and athletic ability is the main focus so if GSU is getting Earthwind, Zzream, Kiwaukee, Chaz, Jermaine, etc. recruiting is going good. If we're getting Pete, Jim, Bob, Paul, etc. we're going to suck.

That's why when you guys showed up with a QB named Jaybo in Newark, we knew you were fucked. You needed a Jayson or an Armanti.

On that note, Delaware just broke pretty far from its mold in signing this slippery little fellow from Florida, a "dual-threat QB" as they're calling him. :thumb:

David Tinsley 6'2, 215 - Rivals 3-star DE from Florida confirms his verbal to be a Blue Hen! Beat out Ohio U at the end among others.

EDIT: His weight is more like 240-250 per other sources, looks like a Rivals misprint.

And Youngstown State lol..

Hearing Akron and Miami (OH) are trying to take some of our recruits from Warren G. Harding High School in Warren, OH. Demond Hymes is a similar back to Boom Herron, not only because they both went to WGH, but because their size and demeanor are very much the same. In addition, one of the largest OL in Ohio, Ian Folmar, 6'5" 360 has received some late interest from the Zips. My sources tell me both intend to stay with YSU!

Expect 3-5 more commits over the coming 24-36 hours.
