I can see not spending the money at a business that you don't want to support. We all probably do that to varying levels. The thing that always makes me go the other direction on issues like this is when people get overly full of their own opinions and then start trying to put pressure on by contacting suppliers and shit like that.

That's when I'll make sure I go out and support that business.

In case you missed it, don't bother to go on Sundays. All Chik-fil-A's are closed on Sundays. Their founder was told that given that most were in malls, it would be a huge mistake, but they get megaprofits. Still inconvenient for fans, though.

I love how the left constantly scream for openness, peace and being oneself yet if it is an entity or a person who doesn't tow their line, it's time to protest. This is why I could NEVER be a true "liberal". it screams hypocrisy. As such, I will eat chick-fil-a as often as possible.

I love how choosing to make consumer decisions is somehow "intolerant" - those companies have every right to fund to whatever right-wing nonsense they want... i won't patronize them... that's not intolerant - i'm not trying to ban chicken joints from supporting whatever cause they want - i'm just not going to support them...

Actually I don't really care about the general political bent of this company or that one. I'll buy a good product from anyone.

Ben and Jerry's support for Mumia really chapped my ass. They are dead to me regardless of who buys them out.
