STILL doesn't know who their head coach is?

Its been two months and there is still no coach for us...

Somebody out there make me feel better about this, we are quickly turning into the worst run athletic department in Division I.

Maybe they're going to cut the DSU football program sort of the same way they fired Milton in Office Space. Don't tell them they've been cut, don't give them a staff to coach them and don't pay their schollies next fall. Maybe they'll still suit up and practice on their own for a while, but eventually, they'll stop putting on the pads or set the campus on fire or something.

But seriously, it's a shame what they're doing. Hire a coach already. They must be getting turned down left and right if no one has been hired yet.

The fact that we even have recruits to be sign leads me to believe either one of two things are happening, either the position coaches have inside knowledge on who the next head coach will be...which makes little sense because normal SOP is that the new head coach will bring in their own position coaches (people that they trust). Or that the interim coach Rayford Petty will be the next head coach...which also makes little sense because why would DSU withhold that information for this long and this far into the offseason? And in fact, if Petty is going to be our next head coach then it should of been announced four to six weeks ago. Talk about being the last kid picked on the team...

Go back and get your MBA from UDel or something. You're wasting oxygen just thinking about DSU's program.

It's wasn't enough that UD had to open up a corporate welfare series with DSU just to satiate the buffoons who called us racist (rather than the fact that we just never gave a crap about DSU), but now it turns out you folks care even less about your football program than UD does. Pathetic.

You guys should give Darrel Asberry a shot he was the ex-offensive co-ordinator at Jackson State going all the way back to the late 90's up to the early millenium.Too bad he wasn't on the staff right now Larrone Moore with his size 6-0 190 and speed 4.28 his stats would be among the best in 1-AA.
