Only until they get that illegal ex post facto rule.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

If it was Mark McGwire steroids it would be higher, there are still 40% with the all-or-nothing anti-steroid vote.JoltinJoe wrote:Not really an issue with Pettitte. His HGH use was so limited that it had no real impact on his career.Gil Dobie wrote:
There are 40% of the voters that won't vote for him because of steroids, whether he admitted it or not.

Agreed - Pettite is a borderline guy anyway, but being a proven HGH user just cements the fact he'll never get in, at least not by the current voters. Maybe the veteran committee decades from now might think differently, but no way does Pettite get in under the current system and current voters. They'll never let a guy in who admitted to cheating.Gil Dobie wrote:If it was Mark McGwire steroids it would be higher, there are still 40% with the all-or-nothing anti-steroid vote.JoltinJoe wrote:

Whatever. He's likely to have his number retired by the New York Yankees, and that's the greatest honor in baseball anyway.GannonFan wrote:Agreed - Pettite is a borderline guy anyway, but being a proven HGH user just cements the fact he'll never get in, at least not by the current voters.
