40% of America would disapprove of Obama no matter what he did. The right-wing has brainwashed the sheeple to blindly hate him.

This. There are sheeple in pretty much equal proportions on both sides of the aisle. I think it coincides with the advent of message boards and being able to comment online on newspaper/magazine articles.Chizzang wrote:40% of the population hates every president no matter who it is on either side...

Yeah and 98% of blacks would vote for him based on race. (because they cant be racists)dbackjon wrote:40% of America would disapprove of Obama no matter what he did. The right-wing has brainwashed the sheeple to blindly hate him.
Like I said earlier if Obama decided to bring back slavery the blacks would be dancing in the streets and hitting the feeder bar a second time.

What's actually more sad than your statement... (which is a 1/2 truth at best)
Is that you completely believe it 100%
Agreed - Obama would probably need to turn into something fairly crazy to lose the black vote - but your simple minded over the top exaggeration shows a few key points pretty clearly about YOU
George Bush got the Conservative vote - and he implemented socialist stimulus packages increased the deficit in record fashion and basically acted like a dumbass for 8 years... Yet he still GOT THE VOTE
So your point is fairly obvious to anybody with a pulse and an IQ over 80
and could be said about any group who blindly buys into something

"....While the December drop from 9.4 percent to 9.0 percent might have looked nice on paper, digging through the real numbers shows the actual jobs picture hasn't improved at all.
In fact, the situation is at best stagnating, despite headline numbers that make it appear things are getting better.
At the heart of the unemployment rate deception are the nearly three million Americans counted as "marginally attached" to the labor force. Those folks would take a job if offered, but actually aren't actively looking and thus not counted in the government's official statistics. There are a million more of them than there were in January 2008, thanks to the lousy job market that seems to be improving only at the margins............
................."Considering that there are about 7 million more unemployed now than three years ago, it suggests the pool of available labor could be 15% bigger than the unemployment figures suggest," he concluded.
That puts the headline unemployment rate well north of 10 percent, even as the so-called "real" unemployment number -- which takes into account an even broader swath of the working-age population -- remains above 16 percent but in a modest decline. In fact, Ashworth attributes the drop from the cycle high of 10.1 percent unemployment to the current level "as much due to a contraction in the labor force" as any illusory improvement in the real jobs picture.
"The 836,000 decline in the labor force since (the October 2009 peak) is only slightly smaller than the 930,000 increase in employment," he wrote. "Over the second half of last year, the labor force shrank by more than employment expanded. ...In other words, the drop in the unemployment rate doesn't reflect an improving job market, but rather a decline in the labor force participation rate.""

There was actually 4 phases of psychology used... you mentioned them
Israel was also ignored during the "rush to war"
Israel has arguably the best intelligence available regarding Middle East States
They have a Threat ranking system - it's actually quite simple - and Iraq was ranked a 2 (out of 10) and interestingly enough the United States is Ranked a 3 as a threat to Israel...
Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Turkey all rank above 6 (for example)
Of course why make that public knowledge - that the U.S. is seen as a bigger threat than Iraq in 2003
So the about face was started:
Where we were now going to be fighting for FREEDOM and Democracy
and we all know how that went - congress got bullied and usually fall in line anyway (as long as the "story" is good enough and will help with re-election) when it comes to war because defense contractors have money and money is what it's always about anyway...
Interesting stuff...

Conservative story about Wikileaks and yellowcake:
http://townhall.com/columnists/larryeld ... page/full/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Bush, in building the case for war against Iraq, lied to the nation. He falsely claimed that Iraq was attempting to purchase yellowcake from Africa. Time magazine specifically referred to the yellowcake "lie" in accusing Bush of fabricating the case for war. Therefore, were Iraq to have had yellowcake -- an assertion called a "lie" -- it would have confirmed the presence of WMD, giving credence to Bush's declaration of Iraq as a "grave and gathering threat."
But ... there ... was ... yellowcake. This brings us back to WikiLeaks.
Wired magazine's contributing editor Noah Shachtman -- a nonresident fellow at the liberal Brookings Institution -- researched the 400,000 WikiLeaked documents released in October. Here's what he found: "By late 2003, even the Bush White House's staunchest defenders were starting to give up on the idea that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. But WikiLeaks' newly-released Iraq war documents reveal that for years afterward, U.S. troops continued to find chemical weapons labs, encounter insurgent specialists in toxins and uncover weapons of mass destruction (emphasis added). ... Chemical weapons, especially, did not vanish from the Iraqi battlefield. Remnants of Saddam's toxic arsenal, largely destroyed after the Gulf War, remained. Jihadists, insurgents and foreign (possibly Iranian) agitators turned to these stockpiles during the Iraq conflict -- and may have brewed up their own deadly agents."

The "chemical Weapons Labs" were garages and basements...
never NOT ONCE were they actually confirmed as State sponsored or actual LABs...
This would be the equivalent of calling 5 guys and a few machine guns a Major Terrorist Organization
This has all been shown (over and over) there has not been any "stock pile" of anything other than AK47's and grenades and RPG's no yellow cake of any (ANY SIGNIFICANCE) has been properly logged by the U.S. Military
And there never will be... thats why we switched tunes in the middle of the song... Freedom and Democracy became the battle cry after the other battle cries proved suspicious (at best)

I'm not sure why this makes any difference... If your handed a sh!t sandwich
Surely you're not suggesting that what Obama does "absolves" the Bush atrocities
Obama will have his HUGE pile of crap for whoever comes next - but - Bush owns Iraq and it's going to be a trillion dollar pile of sh!t pretty much forever... and your kids will be paying for that and so will there kids
It's at $3 Trillion right now with no end in sight
Bush said it would cost $60 billion

Re: Obama a complete douchebag.
I think you are right that there are people who will vote their party regardless, but when the alternative to Bush was John Kerry I think that was a big motivator for the fence sitters to hold their nose and push the Bush button.Chizzang wrote:ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:
Yeah and 98% of blacks would vote for him based on race. (because they cant be racists)![]()
Like I said earlier if Obama decided to bring back slavery the blacks would be dancing in the streets and hitting the feeder bar a second time.
This mindset needs to be exported out of our country.
Personally I went third party and did it again in the last election.
