Yeegads, it's worse than I thought. We're being over-run.
The Blaze is a news, information and opinion site brought to you by Glenn Beck and a dedicated team of writers, journalists & video producers.
Rest assured though Bronco. Walker and his group are well healed. I'm sure old Glenn and the Koch brothers will see to it that the word is spread. :thumb:

Who is winning the public relations fight in Wisconsin?
Hot Air ^ | 2/21/2011 | Bruce McQuain

Rasmussen says it’s Republican governor Scott Walker:
A sizable number of voters are following new Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s showdown with unionized public employees in his state, and nearly half side with the governor.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 48% of Likely U.S. Voters agree more with the Republican governor in his dispute with union workers. Thirty-eight percent (38%) agree more with the unionized public employees, while 14% are undecided.

it's stupid alright - but it's also possible that it's a plant. there is a guy here in MN called "protest warrior" who crashes protest rallies with stuff that is extreme and off the message of the group protesting - he's a right winger plant.

not assuming that it's the case here, if it's legit, it's stupid - in a crowd of 70k+ there are bound to be a few... but again no way to know if it's on the up and up.

Besides, there is a big difference between a knucklehead with a stupid sign, and a political entity using stupid signs as part of a political campaign. I don't know who the clown holding the sign is, but if he runs for office I won't vote for him.

Do you think Wisconsin is the only state this is hapening?

There are many states

Columbus Takes Center Stage in Next Big Union Fight
fox news ^ | 2/21//11 | Lee Ross

The next focus of demonstrators protesting collective bargaining reforms should be Columbus, Ohio where thousands, if not tens-of-thousands, of protestors are expected to gather Tuesday and shout their views about a controversial bill that puts labor unions in the crosshairs of a determined governor intent on salvaging his state's financial situation.
The protests should look and sound much like the ones from Madison, Wisconsin that have gripped the nation in the recent days and marries an uncomfortable economic reality with political opportunity.

Ooooooooooooookie Dokie... I suppose this is the same "protest warrior" who held up a sign at a tea party rally, right?

Isn't it intersting how the MSM managed to find any offensive sign at a tea party rally but somehow can't manage to point out these signs and the fraud perpertrated by these union thugs at these protests?

Depends on your definition of MSM. It seemed the pics of signs from the teabag tard's mostly came from left leaning alt media.

And I will echo TTBF's sentiments in this.

So we can never assume then that a sign or signs at any protest are legit? I mean, if somebody can be a plant at one rally, why can't there be a plant at another rally for a different cause?

happens all the time - on both sides... that's why I'm saying, don't put much stock in them.

during tea party rallies college kids would show up with "keep the government out of my medicare" signs just to fuck with the protesters... others would show up with "end all government services that don't directly benefit ME" etc.

so yeah - i'd look on them all with a healthy dose of skepticism...

Because the plants are only at liberal protests.

I would think that the unions would want this settled ASAP because the non union workers in the state are starting to pay attention to all this probably for the first time. When things are rolling along and the economy is good...people don't pay as much attention. the times they are a changing

And the thing is the bill would only bar non union members from being forced to pay dues in order to keep/gain employment in a certain job. No one should ever be forced to join a union or pay union dues in order to gain employment in a certain field. Its called right to work.

The issue that the unions want to continue to deduct dues automatically from the paycheck.

When a workplace organizes, the first deal cut between the company and the union is automatic dues deduction for a no-strike clause. Everything else is details.

Reporting from Occupied America and fighting for Libertyon February 20, 2011 by Mark Williams in Mark Williams News & Commentary, Comments (43)

FIGHT THE SEIU WITH TACTIC THEY USE AGAINST US – THIS WEEK!

by Mark Williams, Author “Taking Back America One Tea Party at a Time“

Follow the civil discussion by Obamites in the “comments” section below – they are the whole point of my stunt .

CLICK HERE for the SEIU Web Site where I stole this idea!

http://action.seiu.org/page/s/solidarityaction" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That link will take you to an SEIU page where you can sign up as an “organizer” for one of their upcoming major rallies to support the union goons in Wisconsin. Here is what I am doing in Sacramento, where they are holding a 5:30 PM event this coming Tuesday: (1) I signed up as an organizer (2) with any luck they will contact me and I will have an “in” (3) in or not I will be there and am asking as many other people as can get there to come with, all of us in SEIU shirts (those who don’t have them we can possibly buy some from vendors likely to be there) (4) we are going to target the many TV cameras and reporters looking for comments from the members there (5) we will approach the cameras to make good pictures… signs under our shirts that say things like “screw the taxpayer!” and “you OWE me!” to be pulled out for the camera (timing is important because the signs will be taken away from us) (6) we will echo those slogans in angry sounding tones to the cameras and the reporters. (7) if I do get the ‘in’ I am going to do my darnedest to get podium access and take the mic to do that rant from there…with any luck and if I can manage the moments to build up to it, I can probably get a cheer out of the crowd for something extreme.

WARNING: When around these union events do NOT instigate ANY physical confrontation, walk away from anyone who tries to start one with you. These people WILL have a mob mentality and ARE dangerous

Several Tea Party chapters around the country are planning to join with me, if you are a member of one in your area please contact them for details. If they are not participating get them to!

*****UPDATE: IOWA, COLORADO, MASSACHUSETTS AND SEVERAL OTHER STATES HAVE CHECKED IN…. Tea Party Patriot groups and individuals are flooding me with emails vowing to participate and come up with their own creative ruses! Several have also reminded me that we have a distinct advantage in that the SEIU primarily represents non-English speaking illegal aliens so we will be the ones whose comments will make air!!!!*****

Chances are that because I am publishing this they’ll catch wind, but it is worth the chance if you take it upon yourself to act…there’s only one of me but there are millions of you and I know that you CAN do this!

Our goal is to make the gathering look as greedy and goonish as we know that it is, ding their credibility with the media and exploit the lazy reporters who just want dramatic shots and outrageous quotes for headlines. Even if it becomes known that we are plants the quotes and pictures will linger as defacto truth.

That’s really the way it works folks, time to use this weapon against the enemy. More networking and information on the SEIU action for us at this link

I'm thankful I live in a state that has no government employee unions. IMO, government employee unions should be outlawed.

Private sector unions are all well and good, public sector unions are a menace to society and here's why:

When government employee unions don't get what they want in collective bargaining, they can FIRE the people they're negotiating against. Ultimately, this leads to the unions getting whatever the hell they want and ripping off th taxpayers. Every governor should be following Scott Walker's lead on this one.
