At the time I was at Sac, Sierra Hall was coed by door. Grace Covell Hall at UOP (with a Methodist history and still recognizes Methodist scholarships though they don't really go by that anymore) is coed by door. (Those were the dorms I stayed at during my time there.)

I've heard that some schools are "enlightened" enough to have coed rooms. Not sure I could handle that, but as adults things could probably be "worked out."
All of ODU's dorms are co-ed by hall, but there are a few halls available that are single sex if people choose to do that. Half my hall was girls during freshmen year, and 24/32 residents in my hall this year are girls :D.

Also, ODU has one dorm available to non-freshmen that is co-ed by room.

Rumors now circulating as to how people found out they had sex - Davies' girlfriend is a few months preg-o.

I'll give credit to BYU for one thing - they really try to follow their religious guidelines to the letter. Growing up Catholic - it's common knowledge the church frowns on pre-marital sex but I don't know a Catholic university in the country that forbids it like BYU.

You sure about that, Hen? Did you read that anonymous article? If that's to be believed, normal practice is to find an on-campus minister or RA to confess to (a la the RC routine), who generally keeps it between them. The few cases that ever get to the school gestapo are usually resolved with essays and the like. And the investigations usually take awhile, not the one or two days that this one did. The more I hear, the more it sounds like the guy was railroaded like the Pharisees tried to do with the girl caught in adultery (where was the dude?) strictly for show because the guy was an athlete. Besides, the timing (just before the conference tournament and the NCAAs) REALLY stinks.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

I think pre-marital sex in an honor policy is draconian, but BYU deserves credit for sticking by the values it claims to profess. Furthermore, the reason why many students choose to go to schools like BYU and Liberty, or any other I guess, is because these schools reflect the values they already believe in. If you grow up believing that casual sex and overindulgence in alcohol are bad things you don't want to get involved with, then obviously you'll go to a school where that sort of stuff isn't tolerated. Do I think the "forbidden fruit" approach to things like sex, tobacco, or alcohol is a good idea? No. I don't need the administration telling me how to live my life, and I think parts of the Liberty Way, for example, are pharisaical. That's why I didn't go to school there. I chose* Presbyterian because, for me, it was a comfortable environment, just as any student at BYU chose that school. ...Also, the financial aid package I got was pretty amazing. :geek:

I give them credit for sticking with their code. He knew the rules when he signed up. He took the Money follow the rules. I bet BYU is not on sports Ill for having the most athletes arrested.
