I don't agree with many of his positions but that's the way it is and always has been for me. I didn't vote for him but I do hope that he will inspire many in this country that may need the inspiration to stop bitching and start being productive. He delivered a good speech and hopefully he will be able to be effective in turning things around. I will debate what I believe are his errors and his faults in policy but I can not root against him.

eh...it was good...said what needed to be said...but not the "return to Camelot" that I think many of the elitist left had been touting...when he began talking about introspective views of we as Americans and the need to find our inspiration within those traits...I think it got pretty cliche'd and didn't really underline his message...

...someone said the speech was "penned" by a young speechwriter (27 yrs old)...so any "transgressions" can be explained...though this was Obama's "cornerstone" speech...think it needed more key "marching orders" clarity.
