Good grief you're dense. :wall:

Temple is waiting for their contract to be renewed, thus the UMass deal is on hold. Not that hard of a stretch to figure out.

Why else would the Temple bit be posted? It explains the holdups. Also, the same posted three days ago said that "within two weeks" we should know something.

And just to make it crystal clear and leave any doubt behind, I went to the UMass board and found the below quote.
Temple is still awaiting for their contract with the MAC to be revised/finalized. Was supposed to be done last Tuesday but still not finished. Once that is completed then the official word on our move will come out. When will that happen? Who knows?
Believe it or not, plans change.

From Temple board with inside knowledge..

"Villanova football idea is dead. The BE is telling us to hang tight. They may have something for us shortly, which could include all-sports membership. Watch for DePaul to be jettisoned ala Temple football a week or so beforehand".

Read my post on the Nova thread. Malves21. No one has inside knowledge either. Ask all those fools that told us USU and SJSU were gonna be in the MWC running it on the espn bottom line along with the Missouri, ND, Nebraska, Rutgers to the big 10.

Interesting, solid addition from what little I know about UMass.

A little Geographically off, but that doesn't seem to be much of a concern for conferences these days.

Should be able to compete in football soon, if not instantly.
