If the Iraq War was fought from 2003-now with very few casualties... you wouldn't have seen near the protests... and support for the war wouldn't have bottomed out at the end of Bush's term.
Yes, casualties are kinda a big deal as far as public support for foreign intervention goes.
Damned shame we don't see casualty rates on TV every day as we did when bush was in office. You'd think the same people who cared about it during Bush's term would be caring about those casualties now...kind hearted souls that they are.
