OK. So going to Iraq wasn't wrong because it was none of our business nor should any problems "here" prevent us from deposing of dictators. It was because American forces might be killed? I just need to try and stay on the same page here.

We were in Iraq long before 2003 enforcing a no-fly zone and UN sanctions. There were very few casualties from 1992-2002.

If the Iraq War was fought from 2003-now with very few casualties... you wouldn't have seen near the protests... and support for the war wouldn't have bottomed out at the end of Bush's term.

Yes, casualties are kinda a big deal as far as public support for foreign intervention goes.

So, how are we doing on the support for the war in Iraq now as compared to when Bush was in office? And how about that Affy war that Obama says is his "just" war?

Damned shame we don't see casualty rates on TV every day as we did when bush was in office. You'd think the same people who cared about it during Bush's term would be caring about those casualties now...kind hearted souls that they are.
