I think that video is kind of a microchasm of a phenomenon that fascinates me. "Whites" are where they are because their group out competed other groups. They developed superior transportation and military technology.

But now there is a "White Guild" phenonomenon whereby many...perhaps most...Whites feel guilty about the fact that the "race" they belong to achieved dominance.

But why the guilt? I don't get it. The only reason other groups are able to make any progress at all is because a critical mass of Whites decided fo voluntarily allow it. For example: If a critical mass of Whites in the United STates hadn't decided that enslaving Blacks was not acceptable, Blacks would still be slaves in the United States. Blacks were in no position to do anything about it.

And you can even extend that to the "White Male" thing. If a critical mass of White Males hadn't decided that females should be allowed to vote, females wouldn't be allowed to vote. It's not like females had any power to force White males to allow them that.

And now enough White males have decided that it is official policy to discriminate in favor of anybody who is not a White male. There's absolutely no doubt about that.

while what you say may be true your examples could use some cleaning up. there was no "critical mass" of anyone in 'the late united states' to emancipate the negro servants. remember.....the emancipation proclamation didn't say it was illegal to own servants. it said that one HAD ONLY TO BE "LOYAL" TO THE 'late united states' to own them.
