mirrors what we're seeing here in mn... new repub majorities are getting smoked for refusing to compromise with Gov. Dayton - while he's laid out a clear plan (that conks don't like, but he's laid out the whole plan) the conks have refused to do the same, and are already pushing that a state shutdown is inevitable.

Lady sent a letter to the editor of the Billings paper a few weeks back, basically saying "hey you new republicans, we elected you because you said you would find ways to create jobs for Montanans, not to have you spend all your time in Helena trying to outlaw abortions, medical pot, and nullifying federal laws."

I was going to say it but I don't have to because a pollster did:

Brad Coker, managing director of Mason-Dixon, which polls in many states, said low ratings are not uncommon for state legislatures.

“I’ve never seen a legislative rating that I would call unusually low,” Coker said. “I’m more surprised when they are unusually high.”

Coker said job performance ratings on legislatures are similar to those on Congress. People tend to like their own congressmen but dislike Congress as a whole.
