If the GOP wastes time on this its just another reason why they dont represent me in congress anymore. It would be a BS political witch hunt.....err.......lynching and there are much more pressing issues to address.
Like Obamas NCAA bracket, thats what he should be focusing on.

I love how the Arab League was pushing for intervention at the start, now they're starting to get cold feet.

Did we go to war with Djibouti, Ethiopia, Yemen, Eritrea, Pakistan, Somalia, etc. under George W. Bush?

I think we should call them "Enhanced Military Exercises" and then bomb anyone we'd like to bomb. Need to tell Kalm, no need to start erecting tarriffs and other trade barriers, we just need to threaten military exercises and see how people start treating us nicer.Skjellyfetti wrote:So do you consider every country we've conducted military operations under the guise of the "Global War on Terror" to be wars?AZGrizFan wrote: Nice spin....![]()

War or not, it's purely semantics.
So, in other words, the President can launch military activities, hundreds of cruise missles, commit hundreds of planes and thousands of sailors and marines to an "operation", as long as we don't put boots on the ground and you're fine with it.
Got it.

Re: Obama: "Prez has no power...to authorize a military atta
Well, my post was a response to Bongo posting a story about the President needing congressional approval to invade Iran. Obama hasn't declared war on Libya, which makes the article irrelevant to the situation.AZGrizFan wrote:Skjellyfetti wrote:

I think all you could muster was to somehow imply that the article was less than objective because it was linked on Drudge.
I'm too lazy to go back and look through your goofy ass posts, though.
The fact is that your hero, The One, is even more of a babe in the woods than most of his opponents said he was. He has been sleepwalking his way through the last two years, showing the world what an amateur he is in nearly every venue (heck I watched him shank a pitch from 80 yards out and land in the bunker on #18 at Andrews in 2009, he can't even get his swing right). This is just the latest in a long string of examples that show that you should never vote for the populist.
That's right... Obama was the POPULIST choice in 2008. He made people feel good. Like Chris Matthews' tingly leg....
He's an amateur, and the pigeons are beginning to come home to roost (to paraphrase his favorite minister).
