Joe, did you not read my post? This is the peon thread. As evil as the Yankees may be, they are in fact a real baseball team and do not belong in this thread.

That's not even the real Yankees theme song anyway.

Exactly. This thread is reserved for Baltimore, Pittsburg, and the occasional Marlin fan.

I'll be there

Diamondbacks @ Rockies.

78 degrees

The Rockies may be the only Denver area team I consider adopting

Plus my girl loves going due to the copious amounts of Blue Moon at Coors Field. So

Don't even know why we are playing the games. The failees are obviously the greatest team since Lee and Jackson and will go 162-0.

John Axford blows a 3-run lead in the 9th and the Reds walk-off to win 7-6 - and screws my fantasy team with a -43 point performance on opening day... dammit.

Guthrie pitched a hell of a game for the Orioles tonight against the Rays. 8 innings, 3 hits, 1 walk, no runs... 13 consecutive outs in the middle innings.

Matusz out 3-6 weeks... was supposed to pitch tomorrow.

Worse than Boston?

Side note: my gunsmith friend will be in town on Saturday. I spoke with him today and he will bring a book or two and I will have all of the info you should need. I also got the reason your pistol misfired the other day. It is in my vehicle right now and I will get it to you with the other information tomorrow.

Well I cheer every time Boston loses, but no they didn't get beat 13-3 like the Twins did.

Boston's bullpen imploded and gave the game away ... all that money that Boston spent upgrading that weak bullpen from last year ... oh wait. ;)

wow - the Twins opened with a real clunker...

the Jays beat the shit out of em last year... hopefully this isn't a preview of things to come - basically everything that could go wrong... did.

one of the problems is the Twins "pitch to contact" mentality with a team that is always swinging for the fence...
