So you obviously did NOT listen to the clip you copied - the clip secondly is miss titled "Obama advisor calls for a military invasion of Israel" which at no point has Samantha Powers ever called for that and certainly not in that clip

What she is pointing out is that intervention means getting between both groups and successfully taking NO SIDE.

Israel is slowly but surely ethnically cleansing the Palestinians and the Palestinians in many cases are playing into their hands... and at some point the voice of Reason must intervene

Whether Israel is out to 'ethnically cleanse' the Palestinians or not.. Chizzang's comment does hold water. The Palestinians shoot themselves in the foot like a bunch of idiots every chance they get. If they would stop launching rockets into Israel (like they have been doing a lot during the Libya distraction), as well as their other myriad assaults on civilian targets over the years, then maybe... JUST MAYBE... those of us who support Israel's right to exist would be more sympathetic towards their plight. Unfortunately for the Palestinians and their apologists like you, they cannot control their animal/tribal instincts long enough to play the good victims. What kind of "speaking out" by Palestinians that gets shut down by "a ally" of Israel would you be referring to? Is terrorism a form of speaking out? Launching rockets into civilian settlements? Is that what you are referring to? Because the last time I checked, the United Nations Security Council is pretty much Hamas/Fatah Lite, so you must not be referring to speaking out in international bodies.

This is why they have had a problem getting statehood... the minute they are recognized as a legitimate nation they will immediately be placed on the list of countries that support international terrorism without passing Go or collecting $200.
