The Official Red Sox Pity Thread

Post by JoltinJoe »

Post your messages of condolences here. I know a lot of great baseball fans who are Sox fans, and I'm actually beginning to feel badly for them.

I love fans like Hogan who get that we're talking about a game. None of it really matters. And it's fun to bust balls about things that don't matter.

That being said, I know you've got that other thread marked for future use.

That's my biggest fear. Should they turn it around and make it to the LCS or farther, there's going to be some serious redemption to be had.

Sterling said the dumbest thing I've ever heard on XM today. I'll quote this as close as I can from memory...

"I saw somewhere that no team has ever won the Series after starting 0-4. I wonder if anyone has won it at 0-6?"

Gee John, I fucking wonder. He's a good broadcaster but dumb as a box of rocks.

No schadenfreude from me, I just pointed out the statistic I heard on Sportscenter. I'm a Mariners fan, remember? :ohno:

What, Joe? Aren't you going to light a candle to the shrine of Our Lady of the Bloody Sock? :-P

caught him a few times during the twins/yanks series... for a franchise with all that money and all that prestige to have him in the booth... and i dont know who that woman is... but she's about as helpful as a poke in the eye...
