Interesting development in NJ
Carl Lewis is running for state Senate.
Interesting that he lives out there now. He was famous for running and jumping for the Santa Monica Track Club.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

If he visits Trenton or Camden on the campaign trail, we'll be able to find out if superman really is faster than a speeding bullet.SuperHornet wrote:Carl Lewis is running for state Senate.

always blows my mind... Trenton is such a cesspool - less than half a mile away is Morrisville, PA - peaceful, tranquil, pleasant...Cluck U wrote:If he visits Trenton or Camden on the campaign trail, we'll be able to find out if superman really is faster than a speeding bullet.SuperHornet wrote:Carl Lewis is running for state Senate.

Carl Lewis grew up in Willingboro, NJ. I saw him run track in HS.

The Delaware above Philly ain't got nothing on the Anacostia, south of town, different story. I blame the sports fans.

Re: Interesting development in NJ
The first two posts were perplexing. I always though Carl Lewis was famous because he won an olympic gold medal or two.

They give Olympic medals for that?andy7171 wrote:And sucking dick.93henfan wrote:The first two posts were perplexing. I always though Carl Lewis was famous because he won an olympic gold medal or two.
I have a former girlfriend that could have taken a spot on the podium. She's probably still in training somewhere...unless she got married.

It's not just the PA side of Trenton that's nice. The east NJ side is some of nicest parts of the mid-Atlantic. Hamilton and Allentown are flush with horse farms, vineyards and mansions. Really nice area.
It still amazes me though that Camden, as shitty as it is, has one of the nicest minor league ball parks in the country.
