over/under on next terrorist attack on U.S. soil
Yep, mulatta maobama is gonna see to it that our sovereign and glorious nation is attacked again thanks to his pussy liberal foreign policies. I say on or before 9-11-2011 because that 10th anniversary will look like GOLD to Al-Qaieda. So let's hear tenderfoots and bleeding hearts because remember, your vote will have caused it. SACKS OF SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with this post 100%. C-man, you used to be a reasonable, enjoyable poster, put you've really gone off the deep end with this Obama thrashing stuff. I mean, 'mulatto', really? Last time I checked it wasn't considered bad to come from a mixed race background. CM, worry not, you are not alone. There is another complete supreme douche bag asking the same question on another board I visit. Are you two the same?
You aren't really asking the question, you are advertising the fact that you are 100% sure that it will happen, and that it will be all the fault of Obama, and you are looking forward to it just so you can feel vindicated for the extreme ass kicking you took in the election.
What does this mean? It means you are hoping and yes, PRAYING for another murderous attack like what happened on the watch of your great George W. Douche, for your own delight. Gotta love these "Christians", and "men of God" spewing everlasting hate on everybody.
What a total piece of shit attitude, how un-American can you be. For shame.

I actually think that 9/11 crippled Al Qaeda and other islamic terrorists. They probably spent almost all of their resources and favors to pull it off. It will be hard for them to do this again, especially with the violation of civil liberties we are putting up with now, "to defend the homeland." CM, this is where I (and most libertarians) disagree with you. I do not think we should sacrifice liberty for security. Like the Korean War monument in DC says, Freedom is not free. If we really want to be free we must endure sacrifice. I do not wish people to die, but ridiculous foreign policies is what caused this problem and to spy and limit the freedom of your own people to protect them is--sadly--even more ridiculous.
If we quit putting standing armies in these countries, they won't be so pissed at us. Please, can we take a poll...who really believes Osama gives two sh!ts about whether or not the people of the US have freedom (our women don't cover their heads, they can vote, Islam is not the national religion)? If anyone is brave enough to say they think that's why 9/11 happened and they didn't serve in the Bush administration, wow are you naive.

I can't believe people are waiting for a terror attack on the US just so they can say see I told you it would happen if Obama was elected. That is sick.
The thing is that it doesn't matter who is President or how much money and effort is spent to defend this country, an attack can and will still happen. If someone wants to do something bad enough they can accomplish it. Even if we become a military state it would still happen.

There is about 6-8% of our populace who are so heart broken over the failure of the Bush, that they wish nothing but doom, destruction, and despair upon our Nation for the near future, just to sooth their trashed egos.
That is about the same percentage of America that were not so overjoyed with the fall of Nazi Germany.
Go figure.

Honestly, Mountaineer, if you truly believe that just removing our armies would make everything all better, you're living in la-la land. You guys make it sound like Bush INVENTED these policies. He carried on a policy that has been in place for over 150 years. And the hatred from people like Bin Laden doesn't come from current (or past policies). It comes from over 700 years of Muslims hating Christians. The current policies are just a nice, convenient excuse for them to carry out their agenda. Just like oil is a nice convenient excuse for us to carry out our agenda.ASUMountaineer wrote: If we quit putting standing armies in these countries, they won't be so pissed at us. How would you feel if Russia put a standing army in the US, or in Mexico or Canada? Would that piss you off? I know it would piss me off. Honestly, why are American troops in 130 countries? Why are we policing the world, why do we feel we have a right to do so? Give me a break Tom, you know that the Middle East was only our friend during the Cold War because the SU was a bigger threat to them. As soon as the SU ended, they turned their eyes on America which still had troops in the Middle East, presumably for our own interests, not theirs. See, that is the problem. I don't believe they are attacking us because we're "Christian" when they're attacking Muslims everywhere (especially considering America isn't exactly a "Christian nation"). Think outside of the box.
By the way, I don't blame Bush solely for 9/11, I also don't blame him solely for the resentment the Islamic world (and other countries) has for us. Our foreign policy has been wrong for a long time, and until we quit acting like we have an empire to police, we will continue to have this discussion.
