When we play again I will meet you in the tailgate lot at the modestly lavish but conservatively appointed Fabulous Fargo Dome and show you around a bit. Bill wont be there but I hope that wont make you uncomfortable.

The NDSU running game will be waiting in the wings. The NDSU BISON defense will be eager to go. I will show you to the beer and/or the whisky, choose your poison. Stay straight for all I give a shit. I have great friends in the tailgate lots. You can profit from that. No grudges, no hate, no shit, all good fun, all in the spirit of competition and good sportsmanship.

Dear Lord, We come before you and humbly ask you to grant our prayer for a veil of protection to be placed over Donald Trump. May your will be done. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

I really hope that EWU and NDSU rematch in the playoffs again this year... it should be an epic game. However, in all likelihood it's gonna be at Remarkable Roos Field. I hope you make it out this time. :thumb:

By the looks of the Eagle D-line and linebacker corps, every team will have to try the wings because it is going to be pretty lean up the middle.

Until NDSU loses. Then it's all about bad officiating and poor sportsmanship by the winning teams fans.

It's gotta be a long off-season knowing you got cheated out of the NC, but at least you know you should be a lock next season because you'll be much better.

Not much to report from the exclusive, modestly plush but conservatively lavish practice facilities at the NDSU Sports Complex.

1) Justin Howard, suspended WR has been dismissed from the team. This move was widely anticipated and its a good move by Coach Bohl. To be a BISON is an honor that requires honorable behavior.

2) As pointed out in several posts last season NDSU, its fans and all of its many financial supporters practice nothing but good sportsmanship, even in the face of what we are seeing in this thread from folks at other programs.

3) Spring Game is Saturday. Reservations recommended.

4) BisonVille has picked up the NDSU to FBS talk and my prediction that the Big 12 is the best place to go. Bisonator, a person that told me to shut up about it has led the way. NDSU Student was the individual astute enough to pick up on the Big 12. Please link BV and reference thread "Im Just Laying This Out" in the football section, for further reading.

Good scouting report on the Minnesota Golden Gohpers, by position, spring game wrap-up and game-by-game outlook:

Here is what is being said about the game against the NORTH DAKOTA STATE BISON:
North Dakota State
This is a game I’m sure Jerry Kill and his staff would rather not play, especially the first year in a new system. NDSU has given the Gophers fits in recent meetings, even defeating the Maroon and Gold in 2007. Last year, the Bison compiled a record of 9-5, including a couple of FCS playoff victories and a win on the road against FBS Kansas. Returning a good majority of that team, many of whom are from the state of Minnesota, NDSU will be ready and fired up. The Gophers physical talent squeaks out a victory in the fourth quarter. (3-1)

NDSU completed Spring Practice in front of more than 3,000 fans at the prestigious Fabulous Fargo Dome. The NDSU Offesnsive line is outstanding. Austin Richards and Billy Turner are leading the way.
http://www.inforum.com/event/article/id/318135/ wrote:
“We’re a hard-nosed football team,” said left tackle Billy Turner. “We make our money running the ball between the tackles. That’s our game.”
“Me and Austin like to create some holes, we like digging guys out,” Turner said.
The running game will be superb. NFL quality talent along the line and at running back and using the backs as receivers will combine to make this thing a machine.

Passing game still is lagging. #1 QB Brock Jensen was 13-27 but had a least 3 dropped balls. Drop balls plagued the receivers all day. Its a sign of youth but its not a good sign and work needs to be done.

The defense is wall-to-wall solid. Depth and experience. Place-Kicking game a cause for concern.

That wraps up spring ball at NDSU. Things will quiet down now. The hustle & bustle will give way to the quiet, seemingly languish times of summer as the NDSU Football Conglomerate settles in deep under the stands at the Fabulous Fargo Dome to occupy themselves with the study of "the game" during this, the long no-game stretch of the football season.

The archives known as the BIOSN LORE will be further catalogued, indexed and gleaned for facts that can be used in planning for next seasons games. Preliminary game plans should be prepared for all regular season games by July 4. Our scouts and inside contacts across the country have been feeding spring ball information back to football headquarters all spring. Our opponents are well scouted. These preliminary game plans will be updated after fall practices and tweaked to final perfection on game week. No expense will be spared, no contact in the vast network of BISON FOOTBALL will ignored. Its an all-out-effort.

Our players will get back to physical training, sticking to the strength diet but most importantly getting back to a 100% focus on their studies.

The fans will return to the pleasant chatter of all things BISON and the upcoming run at the National Championship. Its all looking very probable now. The season is set. Games will be sold out. The MVFC provides the auto bid giving home field advantage for the playoffs and the NCAA will prepare the final venue where the glory will be earned and the NDSU BISON will be restored to their rightful place at the top of the division.

Closing out the spring season with a little worry, some in the BISON ranks are going on about the passing game. That is going to be the question as fall camp opens in August. I think NDSU has a strong enough running attack that generating offense wont be a problem no matter how good the passing game is, besides I think the passing game is going to be adequate or better with a bullet. Others feel an average passing game is necessary for the BISON to reach potential. We will see.

How are you returning to the top? There are only a few teams that come to mind when I hear returning to rightful place at the top and thats Montana, Appy, Georgia Southern, and maybe UNI/YSU. Get over yourself.
