Yeah, I was down there last weekend just walking around. The part I found a little weird is that they have what appear to be newly-installed high power lasers at each corner of the facility. There's also an office with no windows and a small FEMA logo on the main level. The door was cracked open, so I went on in. There was a stairway that went down to an underground level that was refrigerated and had pallet after pallet of what looked like body-sized plastic containers. Wonder what the hell that was all about? I got out just in time, as several black Suburbans were entering the parking lot and chased me for several miles up I-81 before I lost them. Scary shit.

Also black helicopters.

Building it evenly on both sides would have made it more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

The endzone being filled in with perm seats by the end of the summer will help with the lopsided look...patients grasshopper

Regardless of what anyone says, JMU has the best half of a stadium in FCS. If you hold up a mirror opposite that half to give the illusion of a whole stadium, you have a more fappable stadium than Wa-Griz.

I like to talk smack on these boards but I will never make fun of FCS stadiums, it's hard to come up with a decent stadium at the FCS level...With that said, I never thought I'd see a stadium like this on JMU's campus, it is badass...the pictures don't do it justice. Once the endzone is completed later this summer, holy Sh## even more...

If/when we complete phase III (the Godwin side of the field) bring on any stadium in VA, anywhere...

Make sure you can fill it up before you do that. I'm guessing you'll have to go FBS first and get into a decent FBS conference (ie. at least C-USA) to even approach filling it enough not to make the large size a disadvantage. A packed 25K seat stadium is way more intimidating than a 50K seat stadium with 30K in it.

I wouldn't mind seeing the lower bowl complete. The upper deck on the endzone and on the Godwin side can wait until we need it. But the lower bowl on the Godwin side would be nice if that can be completed in the next 5-10 years.
