Crap, I forget from the 60 Minutes piece where it was, but Hamilton said he called Armstrong on the secondary cell phone numbers all the doping cyclists kept for that purpose, used code word "Edgar Allan Poe" or "Poe" to refer to EPO, and he got a package of it sent to him from Armstrong via the mail. If it was USPS, that's just priceless.

The illegal blood doping via transfusion that was mentioned took place in Spain. They'd fly them down at night during off rest days during the Tour.

Do you fools really believe what you are reading???

It is all a ploy by the FRENCH to try and get win number (1). I mean come on folks. It isn't all that hard to see. The French have never won a battle, EVER...when they had a civil war it ended with a tie. SHIT. Their country's flag is a white one.

Give Lance a break. He has done lots of good in his time in the spot-light. France is just trying to get an edge on a victory.

Don't let them have it.

He hasn't fail one drug test over the years. How much did this "friend" get paid to give this interview or write this book? I'm assuming this is in a book this guy wrote. WTF is going to buy a book written by a bicyclist NOT named Lance Armstong?

How much did the federal grand jury pay him to say all this?

No, he didn't. But in the .000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000013% chance that he did...he gets a pass.

I trust that you are acting in this thread, no? I mean, you don't seriously think Fraudstrong won 7 TdF's in a row clean do you? I've always respected your judgement.

I would doubt that he won all 7, but I would bet that he won plenty of them clean. He was public enemy number one for the entire worldwide anti-doping community, as well as the entire nation of France, and you're telling me they couldn't catch him, just once, in all that time? Either he was one of the greatest riders of all time or he was/is the greatest criminal mastermind of all time and we should seriously look into employing him in the CIA or a similar post. They catch cyclists galore all the time, even ones they are barely looking to catch, yet Armstrong couldn't be caught. Ever. I think he probably doped early on (late 90's), but probably won the majority of those Tours cleanly.

Our local bicycling hero and former Armstrong teammate George Hincapie apparently testified that they both used EPO. There may be no fire, but there's a hell of a lot of smoke around Armstrong.

I don't know why you guys are berating the fellow. He's going to go down as the greatest piss tester in cycling history (except for the one he failed at the 2001 Tour Swisse).

He ate a poppy seed muffin and drank a Jone's brand soda before the test. Total accident. He said sorry. He showed them the grocery store receipt for $3.64 +tax and the empty bottle and cap, which he recycled, and the muffin wrapper which he composted.

He is actually Tim Tebow's real father. NO JOKE.

and maybe he did knock up that Crow bitch as well, but they aborted the fetus and donated it to stem-cell research.

.LOS ANGELES (AP) — Attorneys for Lance Armstrong have demanded an on-air apology from "60 Minutes" after the head of Switzerland's anti-doping laboratory denied allegations he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs at the 2001 Tour de Suisse.

In a letter sent on Wednesday to CBS News Chairman and "60 Minutes" executive producer Jeff Fager, lawyer Elliot Peters said the May 22 segment about Armstrong was built on a series of falsehoods, and he accused the reputable CBS show of sloppy journalism.

From the article you linked:
Last week, the head of Switzerland's anti-doping laboratory, Martial Saugy, denied allegations Armstrong tested positive for performing-enhancing drugs during the 2001 Tour de Suisse.

Saugy said his lab did find suspicious levels of EPO in four urine samples from the race Armstrong won, but he didn't know if any belonged to the seven-time Tour de France winner.
Seriously? WHAT... THE... FUCK... ???

He doesn't know who the samples belonged to? What kind of cluster fuck is that guy running? He has four people doping and he doesn't know who they are? Coverup much?

Is this a bad joke? Fraudstrong's attorneys are pinning their defense on that Mr. Magoo?

This only further convinces me that Fraudstrong was doping hard for at least his first three TdFs and more than likely all seven. Thanks for posting.
