99 DAYS!!!!!!!!!
ASU #99
Lanston Tanyi
Position: Defensive Line/Linebacker
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 250
Year: Junior
City/State: Shelby, N.C.
High School: Shelby
One of Appalachian’s most talented defensive players and, perhaps, the most overlooked member of a unit that features three preseason Buck Buchanan Award candidates ... another in the seemingly endless line of accomplished pass rushers at ASU ... despite having only 18 starts under his belt, has already recorded 13.5 career sacks and 16 quarterback hurries ... has claimed at least a share of the team lead in sacks in both of his collegiate seasons ... has spent the offseason rehabilitating from a severe knee injury suffered in practice just three days prior to the 2009 season finale at Montana ... is expected to be a full strength going into fall camp but could face a challenge for the starting assignment at left defensive end by fellow junior Demery Brewer.

Re: 99 DAYS!!!!!!!!!
ODU doesn't have a #99 on their roster. So, defensive line coach Dealton Cotton...
Dealton Cotton is in his third season as a member of the Old Dominion coaching staff serving as the defensive line coach.
A native of Norfolk, Cotton spent 13 years coaching high school football, including the last five as a head coach. Before joining the Monarch coaching staff, Cotton was at the helm of the Maury High School program, coaching the Commodores to a four-year mark of 30-15. He earned District Coach of the Year and NFL State Coach of the Year honors in 2005 after posting a mark of 10-2.
Cotton's first head coaching stint came at Hertford County High School in North Carolina where he earned another District Coach of the Year distinction in 2003 after taking the Bears from 5-5 the previous season to a mark of 10-2.
Cotton holds three degrees from East Carolina University including a bachelor's in criminal justice and a bachelor's and master's degree in social work. A four-year letterman at nose guard for the Pirates' football team, Cotton helped guide ECU to appearances in the 1992 Peach Bowl and the 1994 Liberty Bowl.
The Cotton File:
Hometown: Norfolk, Va.
High School: Granby High School
College: East Carolina '95
Family: Wife - Tephanie

Montana does not have a player wearing #99 so I will post pictures of our stadium instead. I'm sure most of you have never seen these.

Top two wishes of Ivy football fans everywhere: Playoff participation by the Ivy champion and the diversification of opponents in scheduling games.

EWU #99
2010: Saw rotation as a backup DE, but was effective when in the game. He should be a sack/TFL machine this year. Played in 12 games, started 1, 21 tackles (12 solo), 7 TFL, 2.5 sacks, 2 QBH, 1 FF
2009: Redshirted.
HS: Graduated from Luther Burbank HS in 2009. As a senior, he was one of just 26 players named to the Sacramento Bee All-Metro (all-area) team. He was also selected to the All-Metro Conference team as a wide receiver. He finished the year with 55 tackles, 13 sacks and an interception. Burbank High School finished 6-6 his senior season and played for a section title for the first time in school history.
Personal: Born 9/20/91 in Crookston, Minn. Recreation and leisure management major.
