What a finish. Feel so sorry for JR Hildebrand. Buddy, you have to lift with a turn to go and a lapped car in front of you!

Danica Patrick is a fraud, btw.

A fraud? Hogwash. A fraud doesn't go from 25th to 10th. A fraud doesn't CONSISTENTLY finish in the Top Ten. A fraud doesn't take the lead at Indy during the last ten laps. A fraud doesn't FINISH Indy in the Top Four.

Danica Patrick is for REAL, folks. Deal with it.

Danica has ONE wins in over 100 career starts......And that win was THREE years ago

Fraud is pretty damn close, given how much she is forced down the public's throat about being great and other bullshit.

Uh, how many MALE drivers don't even have THAT? Again, this is chauvinistic hogwash, pure and simple.

How many of those other drivers does ESPN, or any sports show for that matter, shove down our throats? Fucking ZERO.

The only reason people give 2 squirts about her is because she isn't a complete fuggo like the other female drivers.

If anything, SH, that is what you should be pissed about being chauvinistic. The only reason she is popular is because she isn't fuggo

If you think Milka Duno is "fuggo" (by which I assume you mean "fugly"), there's something wrong in your Brain Housing Group. She might not be a decent racer, but she's freaking hot AND one of the most intelligent people on the circuit. Duno is a qualified Naval Engineer with FOUR master's degrees, three of which were awarded at the same freaking time.

Cit, why don't you do all of us a favor and go do something anatomically impossible?

So, what would you rather have:

A. Driver gives up lead inside the last 10 laps to pit for gas

B. Driver takes a chance but comes to a screeching halt on the last lap because he ran out.

Both of those happened today. Driver A is Danica. Driver B is Junior.

You can't have it both ways. Perhaps both could have managed fuel better earlier on. But that's where strategy comes in. You have to take a chance somewhere, and BOTH lost out this time.

I have the same amount of respect for male Nascar drivers as I do for Danika.

None. :coffee:

I think Jr is a fraud too. All that hype, and like Danica he has only won once since 2008. I'm not a hypocrite....I just call it like it is.

Jr has 17 victories in Sprint Cup and a championship in the Nationwide series. While he's certainly been slumping for going on four or five years now, he's improved pretty drastically this year. He's fourth in points well into the season now, ahead of such drivers as Kyle Busch, Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, etc.

It's a shame Jr. didn't have a teammate right behind him like Harvick did to push him during the final caution on Sunday night or he would have had the fuel to win.

Jr. will win this year. Mark my words.

Don't disagree with that....however, he has been just plain bad (for whatever reason) the last 3-5 years. Yet, he sells the most stuff, gets talked about the most (with the exception of maybe Jimmie), and is the second face of NASCAR (behind Jimmie)...he qualifies as a fraud right now.

Although he has been better this year so we will see if that continues.

I would have a really hard time calling a guy who's 4th in the standings among 62 drivers a fraud, but that's just me.

A good first 1/4 a season doesn't make up for over 100 straight starts without a win
