Very nice. I will admit that I'm jealous. I'd trade wofford, eloan, furman, wcu, shitadel, and UTC for a few on that list.slycat wrote:Posted here since the Bobcats will be in the WAC

Re: 2012 Texas St schedule
I'm seeing 5-7 with that sched.
OOC, beat Houston and SFA, lose the others.
Home WAC, beat Idaho, lose the others.
Road WAC, beat SJSU and UTSA, lose the other one.
Sounds a little weird, but that's doable, anyway.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

They struggle to get to 5-7 in the FCS on any sort of regular basis. How are they going to do that....being realistic about it...their first year FBS?SuperHornet wrote:I'm seeing 5-7 with that sched.

Re: 2012 Texas St schedule
Well, clenzy, you at least agree with the losses I picked, right? I'll assume that, anyway.
The wins, well, the majority of the wins are WAC conference games featuring notoriously crappy teams like SJSU. The only questionable one I see on the "win" side is Idaho, and all signs say they're about to revert to form, which is to say that they'll play like crap again. As far as OOC goes, well ever since the end of the run and shoot era in Houston, they've been crap.
Who knows. I could be wrong. I'm just going off of the other teams being non-deserving I-A crap.

Re: 2012 Texas St schedule
I'll say 4-8 with wins against SFA, UTSA, NMSU, and New Mexico.
But the WAC is weak enough they could do even better. Or worse, I'm interested to see waht Fran does with the team. I can't wait to go see some of these teams come to San Marcos.

you think they'll beat Houston and lose to a deplorable New Mexico team?SuperHornet wrote:I'm seeing 5-7 with that sched.
