2011 FCS Stats for departed players

Post by Keeper »

For Stat Geeks Only :ugeek: my annual survey of stats showing starters and others lost.

Players departed from the roster have their stats removed and the results show personnel losses
by position. Compare your fave team or conference. Make a copy for your prospectus file, it's free!

http://home.comcast.net/~keepersfootbal ... gstats.htm

Survey includes number of starters lost offense/defense, offensive linemen lost, percentage of
rushing passing receiving lost, percentage of tackling lost by def line, linebackers & def backs.

If anyone should find some glaring errors, please give me a shout. Not all teams have reported
a 2011 roster so there could be some departures unaccounted for.

best regards, Keeper.

Surprised ODU isn't higher up actually in the rankings.

I found it interesting. However, knowing what we have coming back, who was injured (sat out), who we had as RS and the incoming JUCO/transfers, I'm not too worried. (not that our season will mean anything this year anyway)

Also, for those who had SFA ranked so high, or who might have....look what they lost and if I were you, I'd re-evaluate their position in a pre-season poll.

Does this also include players that left the team for other reasons? I assume it doesn't by looking at it.

ODU lost several players during the offseason including our back-up kicker, two of our running backs, and one of our KO returners...

I'll have to really sit down and evaluate to see who I think will take the SLC this year. I'm leaning towards a particular team but with baseball just getting over I haven't had time to really sit back and sort it out.
