Given the alternative state school to pull for, I like USC. I had zero preference between Clemson/USC when we moved to SC, but it didn't take long to develop one.

Well, I'd rather it go all three games for sheer entertainment. While I would prefer UF to win, I would really like to see two more games like last night.

Yeah, but I'd rather be in Clemson any day over Columbia--what a craphole. You could always pull for Coastal Carolina...aren't they a state school? Plus, if you did that...you and Ibanez could totally hook up to watch games (homo).

Either way, USC has the tenacity. They played like champs at the end. They wanted that win. If you could make half of a game as exciting as the last couple innings, I'd be a season-ticket holder.

The Longhorn Express News (also know as The Austin American Statesmen) did their usual part in relaying the CWS news....they had the box score on the last page of the sports section.
Honestly I could've given a fuck who won after Cal and Vandy went down. I hate those other teams.....always have.

I assume you mean me TJ? I'm not taking the loss too bad. This is only South Carolina's second national championship in anything and plus I have friends who go there or going to go there next fall. Plus the pitching coach Jerry Meyers was the head coach at ODU at one point.

My post was that regardless of whether I cared or not, there should have been something in the "local" paper about it and they couldn't give the finals even one sentence or paragraph. However, since it wasn't the longwhorns they could only manage the box score. It's just wrong
