Here's a prediction: the scholarship team wins easily.

Ive identified 3 problems:

1) There is a tremendous measure of BISON envy on the board and why not?
2) A lot of the BSC fans are very low class and appear uneducated. Some are very good typers however.
3) The BISON and the NDSU Sports Conglomerate are #1, which brings us back to #1..

I for one would like to see the conversation more focused on the game, but with the obsession of these western USA FCS fans with the officiating at the NDSU/EWU game and the problems they have with responsible scheduling and of course the addition of UND its no wonder they act like they do. Who could blame them?

The loss is actually to the Lafayette fans. They probably dont get a chance to learn about the NDSU BISON football program as much as they would like and this thread is a rare opportunity for those fans.

But...you started that conversation and added fire to it? All the reasons this thread ends up steering away from this game is due to you. You never fail to give BISON fans a bad name.

Can is an expression of ability. "Can I choose the verb?" is not appropriately followed by choosing one.

May is an expression of permission. "May I choose the verb?" is appropriately followed by your choice.

No dunce it is you that is so paranoid about officiating. How can you be so sure the officiating will be excellent for the BISON home opener? If the BISON lose, you will blame officiating and if we win then you will claim the officiating was great. I love the NDSU football team to death but it gets so fucking annoying when all people do is blame the refs.

Maybe, if the BISON do leave, I'll pick up with the Mayville State Comets. They have 6-8 transfers from a successful Fl. high school team in Liberty City coming to town to turn things around. Should be interesting.

Well, I doubt it will be anytime soon. You need an invite and NDSU doesnt get mentioned much.

Right now the focus is on the new BISON recievers. I think they will throw the ball a whole lot. The Leopards better be in shape because they are going to be chasing our recievers around all day. In fact, I think in the first 2 games NDSU is going to throw a lot. Probably 60% of the time.

A huge game against a 2-9 nonscholarship team? It is big for the reason that it is a season opener and there will be a lot of excitement but will not have anything to do with the opponent because if the BISON don't beat them by 20-30 points in front of a sold out crowd something is wrong.
